OXELÖSUND 550
Oxelösund 550 is a safety boot designed for work in extreme environments involving high heat, moisture, or chemicals – specially developed for welding and metalworking. The boot features an aluminum toe cap and a metal-free penetration protection plate that guard against impact and sharp objects without compromising comfort.
The upper is made of specially treated leather that withstands heat up to 900°C, while the seams are stitched with 100% heat-resistant Kevlar® thread for maximum durability when exposed to extreme heat. The tough nitrile rubber outsole is both heat-resistant and slip-resistant, making the boot suitable for environments with molten metal, hot surfaces, or chemical exposure.
Despite its robust construction, Oxelösund 550 is surprisingly flexible and comfortable – developed in collaboration with a Swedish mining company to meet real-world demands in extreme working conditions.
