Energy absorption: Energy-absorbent sole which provides good spring.
Energy Gel: Energy Gel is placed in the heel of the shoe, and is specially designed to produce optimum effect. The cushion is pressed together by the force of the step, thereby absorbing the shock. In addition to highly effective shock absorption, Energy Gel also gives some of the energy and ‘lifting power’ back when reverting to its original shape.
Smartec® Air: A newly developed soft, comfortable functional material in two layers. Used as a lining in several of our shoes. Channels sewn in to effectively wick moisture and heat away from the foot.
Super8: Super8 is a full-grain, quality leather that withstands water for a whole eight consecutive hours. The Super8 leather if fully impregnated - the special treatment penetrates the leather - and, unlike surface impregnation, does not wear off over time.
Poliyou®: Insole made from Poliyou®, which is shock-absorbent and very comfortable. The sole breathes and helps transport the foot's moisture.
Wter-repellent: The leather is impregnated or coated with an outer layer that makes the shoe waterrepellent. This symbol is also used for boots made entirely from rubber or polyurethane.
Oil-resistant: The sole is oil-resistant and withstands chemical contact well.
Anti-static: The soles have discharging properties. Resistance between 100 kOhm and 1000 MOhm, in accordance with EN 345.
EN ISO 20347: European standard for Occupational Footwear covering basic and additional requirements for occupational footwear. No requirements for toe protection.
FO: Oil resistant outsole (EN ISO 20345 / EN ISO 20347).
